Ro is looking for clinicians to join our medical review team and serve as medical researchers and reviewers on an as-needed, contract basis. Our medical reviewers ensure that all of our medical content is accurate and up-to-date. Their name and headshot will appear on every article they review and they will have a bio page on our website highlighting their experience.

What You'll Do

    • Review ~5 consumer-facing articles per month, ensuring that they are medically accurate and consistent with our best practices
    • Advise on clinical guidelines to inform new and updated articles 
    • Vet sources used in articles 
    • Recommend changes to ensure medical accuracy and work directly with our editors to update content to be medically sound 

What You'll Bring to the Team

    • A passion for consumer-facing health content and medical accuracy 
    • Experience working with blog or public-facing content
    • Experience reviewing sources (such as PubMed) and identifying appropriate journal articles  
    • MD/DO/NP/PA/Pharm.D required
The target hourly rate for this position is $75-125/hour. When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. These considerations may cause your compensation to vary.

Ro recognizes the power of in-person collaboration, while supporting the flexibility to work anywhere in the United States. For our Ro’ers in the tri-state (NY) area, you will join us at HQ on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For those outside of the tri-state area, you will be able to join in-person collaborations throughout the year (i.e., during team on-sites).
