We are focused on the development, commercialization, and market adoption of green methanol as a sustainable fuel and chemical feedstock, leveraging renewable energy and carbon capture technologies.

Objective:

The Advisor will provide strategic guidance and technical advice on the development, production, and commercialization of green methanol. The candidate will leverage their extensive experience in renewable fuels and chemical production to help the company navigate technical, regulatory, and market challenges. The Advisor will ensure that the company’s approach to green methanol production is scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with industry demands.

Scope of Work:

    • Advise, review, and provide feedback on green methanol production processes to enhance scalability and efficiency.
    • Recommend improvements to increase production yields while minimizing costs and carbon intensity.
    • Provide insight into how laboratory results may translate into commercial-scale production.
    • Offer guidance on optimizing the production of green methanol, including feedstock selection and process efficiency.
    • Identify potential manufacturing partners and technologies that support cost-effective and scalable production.
    • Provide recommendations on improving operational efficiency and mitigating production bottlenecks.
    • Advise on go-to-market strategies for green methanol, identifying key industries and customers.
    • Develop strategies for securing offtake agreements with maritime, chemical, and energy sector stakeholders.
    • Provide insight into pricing structures and competitive positioning within the renewable fuels market.
    • Offer guidance on regulatory requirements, certifications, and incentives for green methanol production and sales.
    • Identify potential customers and partners for green methanol adoption.
    • Provide input on structuring commercial deals, including supply agreements and joint ventures.
    • Develop a roadmap for building long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the green fuel market.

Deliverables:

    • Regular advisory reports with actionable insights on production, commercialization, and market expansion.
    • Review of technical documents, business models, and sales strategies.
    • Recommendations for improving scalability, cost-efficiency, and market penetration for green methanol.

Qualifications:

    • Advanced degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Extensive experience in green methanol production, renewable fuels, or chemical industry commercialization.
    • Deep understanding of carbon capture, hydrogen integration, and sustainable fuel markets.
    • Proven track record in advising or leading market development for low-carbon fuels.

Term:

    • The initial term of this advisory role is for up to 3 months, with the potential for extension based on mutual agreement.

Time Commitment:

    • The Advisor will provide consulting services on an as-needed basis.
