About the Role

As a SDET intern on the Quality Assurance team at Rocket Lawyer, you will get the experience of writing test code for either web or mobile applications. This role will also enable you to be involved in and learn about the real world software development process alongside a strong global test team.

Reports to: Director, Quality Assurance
Location: Remote, but you must be located in CA, AZ, CO, NC, or UT during the internship.
Duration: Starting June 2024 for 10 weeks, 40 hours per week

A day in the life

    • Mobile test automation
    • Partnerships test automation
    • Google Tag Manager and Marketing sites test automation
    • Web frontend (including authoring tools) test automation
    • Performance testing 
    • Daily scrum meetings

Intern Primary Responsibilities

    • Take part in daily scrum meetings
    • Build and deliver test automation

Learning Objectives

    • Understand software development life cycle in the real world
    • Understand real world software test automation

Desired Skills & Qualifications

    • Coding in any of the following languages: Java, Javascript/Typescript, Python
    • Eager to learn
$25 - $29 an hour
CA & CO: $29/hour
UT, AZ, NC: $25/hour
