About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Director of Business Intelligence, this role will partner closely with product leaders, revenue growth, and engineering teams to deliver actionable insights and act as a thought leader for International teams at Rocket Lawyer. The function will play a critical role in supporting go-to-market data strategy, ensuring measurement of engagement and retention metrics for our international stakeholders. 

Key Objectives

    • Own defining, tracking, and monitoring business of all International KPIs
    • Partner with leaders in engineering to improve data collection through data infrastructure design, data pipelining, and warehousing solutions
    • Conduct exploratory data analyses to discover patterns and insights to inform future strategy
    • Partner with product management leadership to create hypotheses, define KPIs, design experiments, and act as go-to strategic thought partner
    • Ensure product teams are empowered to make data-driven decisions that make a positive impact on success metrics 

Skills and Experience

    • 2+ years of experience with business analysis and problem-solving by drawing insights from large data sets
    • Prior experience working directly with product managers or embedded within a product team
    • Experience working with managing and improving data pipelines
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Logical, analytical thinker with business acumen
    • Significant expertise with Google Analytics 4 
    • Proficient in SQL and experience with orchestration tools (i.e. Airflow) 
    • Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, etc) 
    • Experience with data warehousing, and data pipelining solutions a plus
    • Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering, finance, economics, or quantitative field

Nice to have

    • Familiarity with Python (or equivalent) and Github
