About the Role

We're looking for a savvy, enthusiastic, and motivated legal intern for our team. This internship offers training and experience in the day-to-day activities at an innovative legal tech company. Duties range from legal research on a variety of topics to hands-on content writing and editing. Read on if you are detail-oriented, eager, and enjoy being part of a fast-moving, collaborative team. This position is remote. 

Reports to: Senior Legal Researcher
Location: Remote, but you must be located in CA, AZ, CO, NC, or UT during the internship.
Duration: Starting June 2024 for 10 weeks, 40 hours a week

A Day in the Life

    • Support the creation and maintenance of legal document templates.
    • Research and analyze legal document structure, source material, and supporting documentation.
    • Conduct legal research to ensure documents are up to date and compliant with state and federal law.
    • Draft and edit legal website content.
    • Support Document Operations team in daily administrative tasks.

Requirements

    • Currently rising 2L, 3L or recent graduate of a nationally-accredited law school.
    • Excellent writing, proofreading, recall, and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Apps.
    • Self-starter who will thrive in a creative, fast-paced environment. 
    • Great attitude, sense of humor, and a professional demeanor.
    • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
$19 - $19 an hour
