The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of web application development as well as familiarity with backend integration and systems.

Responsibilities

    • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable web applications and user interfaces
    • Use AWS to create cloud native software solutions
    • Contribute and maintain unit and integration tests
    • Deploy and maintain systems in the AWS cloud environment
    • Own defined scopes of project work
    • Participate in requirements reviews, and other technical discussions
    • Work as part of a highly collaborative agile team
    • Handle large volume of complex technical details, work-streams, and interdependencies

Requirements

    • Up and down the tech stack, this is a hands-on position that requires curiosity, initiative, and follow through. You must have senior developer expertise with the majority of the following:

    • Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science or other relevant degree
    • 3+ years as a Front End Developer
    • Strong understanding of TypeScript and JavaScript: Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
    • Experience with front-end testing: Proficient in unit testing (Vitest or similar) and end-to-end testing (Playwright or similar)
    • Integration with REST APIs: Familiarity with consuming and integrating RESTful APIs, working with asynchronous data
    • HTML5/CSS3 & Responsive Design: Expertise in building user interfaces using modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Bootstrap)
    • Experience with build tools: Proficient in using front-end build tools such as Webpack, Angular CLI, or similar, for optimizing and bundling code, managing dependencies, and automating tasks
    • Version Control Systems: Experience with Git or other version control tools for collaborative development
    • Performance optimization: Knowledge of optimizing front-end performance for scalability and speed
    • Collaboration with backend teams: Experience working closely with backend engineers to define API contracts and troubleshoot integration issues
    • Proficiency in front end Frameworks: Experience developing responsive web applications using a framework like Angular, including components, services, routing, and forms
    • Expert level understanding of design patterns and algorithmic concepts and software engineering best practices
    • Familiarity with Java and Spring Boot is a nice-to-have
    • Basic knowledge of databases and cloud technologies - AWS or Azure

$115,000 - $150,000 a year
