The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud development experience in Java and Spring Boot.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software modules
- Use AWS or Azure APIs to create cloud native software solutions
- Contribute & maintain automated unit and integration tests
- Deploy, run, and monitor AWS or Azure production systems
- Participate in the build and implementation of detailed architectural plans and tickets
- Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.) is a plus
- Participate in requirements reviews, and other technical discussions
- Work as part of a highly collaborative agile team
- Handle complex technical details, work-streams, and interdependencies
- Gain detailed knowledge and understanding of platforms, features, and dependencies
Requirements
- Up and down the tech stack, this is a hands-on position that requires curiosity, initiative, and follow through. You should have working familiarity with the majority of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science or other relevant degree
- 1-2 years as a Cloud Developer with daily use of Java, Gradle, Docker, Spring Boot
- 1 -2 years of experience and regular use of SQL
- Experience in designing SQL and NoSQL data models
- Ability to execute instructions and build end to end cloud native solutions
- A strong understanding of design patterns and algorithmic concepts and software engineering best practices
- Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift
- ECS, Fargate, Lambda, Kubernetes, Docker
- ElasticCache, Elasticsearch
- ALB, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CodeDeploy
