Rollbar is looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our team and make an immediate impact . You will work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, and marketers as well as current and prospective customers to define, build, and launch new and improved functionality.

You will:

    • Interact with current and potential customers on a regular basis to discover new ways that Rollbar can help them do their jobs
    • Write user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, etc. for new functionality
    • Create and prioritize stories in the product backlog
    • Collaborate with engineering and other product teams to iteratively design, build and launch new functionality
    • Act as product owner in day-to-day team standup meetings
    • Write/review user docs and other public-facing content
    • Participate in acceptance testing and QA of new and improved product features.
    • Provide training to and support of customer-facing teams including tech support, sales and marketing
    • Ensure that customer-requested features and issues are properly prioritized and handled in a timely manner
    • Track key competitors to identify opportunities and threats to Rollbar's market position

You have:

    • At least 3 years of professional experience as a software developer and at least one year as a product manager
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Can-do attitude and willingness to take on broad responsibilities to ensure that projects are successful
    • Self-motivated and able to excel in a small team environment with little oversight, but also willing to ask for guidance and help when appropriate
    • Able to balance quantitative and qualitative analysis - Comfortable building your own SQL queries to analyze data as well as conducting open-ended discussions with customers and teammates
    • Familiarity with designing/building/supporting REST APIs
    • You still like to write code, whether it's at work or during nights & weekends
    • BS Computer Science or other technical degree, or equivalent professional experience/training

Bonus Points:

    • Experience using Rollbar and/or similar products in real-world projects
    • Experience as a Product Manager or Developer building tools for DevOps or SW Development teams
    • Experience working in a startup
