About the role

As the Growth Strategy Manager for promotions at Roo, your role will be to craft and execute captivating campaigns aimed at boosting revenue and fostering engagement among our veterinarian community. Collaborating closely cross-functionally, you'll integrate promotions seamlessly within our app to enhance user experiences. With a keen, and sometimes obsessive, eye for analytics, you'll dissect campaign performance, refining strategies and innovative incentive models to optimize engagement. Your responsibilities will extend beyond promotion as you align efforts with acquisition and retention teams, manage budgets for optimal ROI, and leverage segmentation and personalized communication to deliver targeted promotions. In essence, you'll be the architect of Roo's promotional landscape, orchestrating campaigns that resonate with veterinarians and drive tangible business outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

    • Build strategy and vision for promotions to align with Roo’s revenue goals.
    • Develop and execute weekly promotional campaigns tailored to different veterinarian segments to encourage shift requests.
    • Work closely with product, engineering, data, design, and account management teams to integrate promotions effectively within the app, enhancing the user experience.
    • Analyze campaign performance, measuring incremental lift in revenue generated by participants versus a hold-out group.
    • Use data to refine and optimize promotional strategies, ensuring maximum engagement and effectiveness.
    • Test new and innovative incentive models to continually improve veterinarian engagement and satisfaction.
    • Coordinate with the veterinarian acquisition and retention teams to align promotions with overall team strategies.
    • Develop and manage the budget and financial forecast for the promotions, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve the best ROI.
    • Monitor and report on the financial performance of promotions.
    • Utilize segmentation and personalized communication strategies to deliver targeted promotions at key lifecycle stages.
    • Work closely with marketing and product teams to create automated workflows that trigger specific promotions based on veterinarian behavior, milestones, or feedback.

About You

    • Prior experience in promotions or marketing, preferably in a tech or app-based environment.
    • Proven ability to strategically develop and execute revenue driving promotions. 
    • Strong analytical skills aimed at optimizing campaign performance.
    • Collaborative team player who can easily work effectively with diverse teams.
    • Experimental approach to testing and implementing new promotional techniques.
    • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently self sufficiently in a remote environment.
    • Ability to use marketing and psychology principles to glean behavioral insights.
$90,000 - $140,000 a year
Since we're a remote first company, compensation ranges are based on where you live.  Please see below for examples of compensation ranges based on some specific cities.

San Francisco / New York $110,000 - $140,000
Seattle / Boston $100,000 - $130,000
Austin / Atlanta $95,000 - $120,000
Raleigh / Minneapolis $90,000 - $115,000

Base salary is commensurate with experience and geographic location.
