Roofstock is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead and commercialize a marketing strategy to drive growth. This marketer will partner closely with our product, engineering and design teams to develop the go-to-market plan for new product launches and build product roadmaps. They will also work closely with our sales and success teams to ensure high product adoption, as well as cross-sell and upsell opportunities. 

Our ideal candidate is a results-driven and customer-obsessed strategist with demonstrated experience defining and executing on a strategy for taking a product to market. They know how to move quickly and be scrappy, while meeting a high quality bar for all things customer-facing. This marketer should feel like an owner of all products shipped, and pay close attention to adoption and growth goals on an ongoing basis.

In this role you will gain a deep understanding of the real estate investment ecosystem, so that you can confidently influence product roadmaps and lead outbound go-to-market strategies that optimize for growth, adoption and revenue.

What You Will Do:

    • Develop the user persona/target audiences and understand how they fit within the broader Roofstock umbrella (including Roofstock One, Roofstock Marketplace, Stessa and Great Jones) 
    • Craft the go-to-market plan and strategy for new products and features, and map out clear user adoption and new user acquisition goals for each launch
    • Leads product value proposition creation, positioning and messaging strategies that resonate with those audiences; socializes them with cross-functional teams and ensures relevant internal and external stakeholders have input 
    • Gathers qualitative and quantitative user insights and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement to existing products and features. Recommends improvements to product and content teams based on behavioral insights to drive improvements and long-term automation
    • Reports out regularly on product and strategy performance against KPIs, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization 
    • Partners deeply with Business, Product, Engineering and Legal teams to define and prioritize the product and feature roadmap 
    • Become the established SME (subject matter expert) for new products and features
    • Partners closely with Sales/Ops and Product teams, leading optimal orchestration of all end-to-end customer-facing motions and CRM strategy
    • Pursues bold, creative strategies across channels to reach and engage new audiences
    • Crafts an annual marketing calendar that synchronizes messaging strategies across channels to acquire leads
    • Partners closely with Legal and creative partners as we craft campaigns and commercialize them through channels
    • Reports out on results versus business plan, sharing marketing insights, performance and upcoming initiatives in a Weekly Business Review attended by cross-functional business leaders
    • Critically evaluates campaign/strategy performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization
    • Act as a thought leader for your business, while identifying opportunities to drive enterprise value across the Roofstock ecosystem

What You Bring With You:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Technical field; MBA Preferred 
    • 8+ years of marketing experience, with 5+ years of product marketing 
    • Experience working at a fast-growing Saas, Fintech or other comparable industry company
    • Experience during high-growth phases of early-stage companies is preferred
    • Strong analytical foundation and data-driven approach to understanding a business
    • Solid familiarity with a variety of marketing channels including SEO, social, email, affiliates
    • Ability to think big and market to a global audience 
    • A natural curiosity to test, measure, learn and iterate to get the best results possible 
    • Strong communication, time management and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously 
    • Team player attitude with good follow through
