Editor/Graphic Designer - Funhaus

Funhaus is looking for a graphic designer and video editor to create funny video content, design thumbnails and assist in merchandise inspiration. Most of Funhaus content is heavily improved and comedic with a strong presentation using visuals that rely heavily on Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere. A strong candidate will have examples of past work, ability to work across the entire Adobe Creative Suite, work under tight deadlines, be creative without the need to be micromanaged, be easy going and work well with others.


    • Complete editing assignments in a timely manner and prepare content for final release on the Funhaus YouTube channel
    • Manage organization of projects, media and assets throughout the editorial process
    • Execute changes to your edits based off notes from producers, clients and/or management
    • Responsible for the quality of art assets and design across assigned shows, directing other contributors and leading by example
    • Assist in daily Youtube/RT content Thumbnail creation
    • Work between multiple projects on a given day while maintaining the highest form of quality.
    • Maintain and establish a tone across all content throughout multiple media platforms.
    • Generate, as well as guide members of your team in the generation of, initial concepts for merchandise, thumbnails, Photoshops and other  production assets
    • Be current on industry trends and technologies to provide insight into current workflows
    • Work closely with producers and other teams in the production pipeline to ensure a collaborative, efficient logistical approach to creating assets
    • Help guide in the creation of promotional art and marketing materials as needed


    • 2+ years demonstrated experience editing videos
    • 2+ years demonstrated graphic design experience
    • Degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred
    • Strong sense of storytelling and comedic timing
    • Highly proficient in Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Illustrator
    • Knowledge of hardware and software required for video and audio format conversion and compression
    • Experience with multi-cam editing and workflow
    • Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with multidisciplinary teams
    • Highly proficient in fine art, 2D illustration, and animation fundamentals; able to produce art for characters, vehicles, and environments
    • Must have an understanding of video file formats, video analysis and metadata
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment & accept feedback/notes on work
    • Desire to further improve skills and techniques
    • Strong will and self-motivation to take on projects and complete tasks on time
    • Understanding of YouTube and internet content needed
    • Bonus points for outstanding skills in multiple 2D art disciplines
