Rooster Teeth Animation is looking to hire a full-time Editor to join our team. The animation department at RT has long been a driving force within the company, creating such shows as RWBY, Red vs. Blue, Camp Camp, and RWBY Chibi.


    • Assembling animatics for animated contentSearching for and selecting temp music and sfx
    • Keeping projects up to date with latest playblasts from all departments
    • Creating supplementary graphicsExporting and QC of final content deliverables
    • Sourcing and occasionally repackaging archived content for outside vendors
    • Color grading experience is a plus (DaVinci Resolve or equivalent)


    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Able to take instruction well, with keen attention to detail
    • Must be self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to complete tasks on time
    • Strong interest in narrative storytelling and pacingExperience with Adobe Premiere Pro required
    • Experience with Shotgun (or similar production tracking software) is preferred
    • Comfortable working knowledge of codecs and audio/video compression
    • Experience authoring BluRays/DVDs a plusOn-set production experience working with cameras and lighting a plus
