Roshal’s Ultrasound Technologists perform a variety of routine and emergency ultrasound imaging and other sonographic procedures with minimal supervision, requiring independent judgment.
Lead Ultrasound Technologist Job Responsibilities:
Demonstrate proficiency in medical diagnostic imaging procedures, including OB, general, and vascular
Maintain accurate records, reports, and files, as directed. Document work processes, as required.
Assist with conducting new employee orientation and continuous training.
Support Zone Manager with site inspections.
Dispatch personnel for on-call services during rotation.
Communicate pertinent clinical information and ultrasound findings to the radiologist
Utilize systems such as PACS systems and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to obtain or enter appropriate care data.

Lead Ultrasound Technologist Requirements:
Minimum of three (3) years of ultrasound imaging experience is required.
RDMS certification is required.
Demonstrate professionalism and effective interpersonal skills in a diverse population.
Ability to be self-directed and organized to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Must be up to date on all vaccinations as required for hospital employment and pass any needed health screenings, including drug screening and background check.
Must have a current BLS/CPR
Physical Effort:
·Must be capable of lifting 50-100 lbs, including patient lifting, positioning aids, portable ultrasound machines, and assisting with minor patient movements. Requires physical flexibility to bend, reach, twist, and adjust equipment or patients as needed.
·Requires prolonged standing or walking while performing scans, moving between patients, and positioning equipment. Physical endurance is essential to complete multiple consecutive scans.
