Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a Senior Creative Program Manager to join our Brand Studio team. In this role, you will lead the development of branded localized creative assets to accelerate growth and drive awareness across our international paid media touch-points with a focus on the European market. This role reports to Rover’s Head of Creative and is a member of our in-house creative team. 

As a Brand Studio Senior Creative Program Manager, you are responsible for building effective partnerships across the business to align and prioritize Studio team resources and efforts to deliver against our strategic priorities. 

In addition to your functional expertise, you must excel across three dimensions:

Exceptional client service: You are a thoughtful and skilled relationship manager who builds connections with internal cross-functional teams and manages agency relationships and contractors through every stage of creative development. 

Strategic insight that drives results: You must be an excellent strategic partner, who can champion the development of project briefs alongside stakeholders to ensure the on-time, on-brand delivery of high-impact marketing and communications creative.

Operational excellence: You are a self-starter with exceptional critical thinking skills who isn’t afraid to roll their sleeves. You can juggle concurrent and shifting priorities and navigate ambiguity while building creative programs from the ground up. 

Your Responsibilties:

    • Works independently to lead programs and projects that deliver high-impact localized creative solutions through collaboration, disciplined debate, gathering insights, including diverse perspectives, and locking arms once decisions are made.
    • Acts as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external agencies to tie business strategy to creative strategy
    • Partners with Studio stakeholders, channel owners, and leaders across the business to understand their strategies, roadmaps, and KPIs in order to ensure resources and workflows are optimized to deliver against goals and agency and contractor comprehension of project objectives, audience, and key messages
    • Ensures that each campaign launched in each European country is consistent and cohesive with the brand and key marketing messaging
    • Manages short and long-term capacity planning to facilitate smart prioritization decisions across the programs and projects
    • Manages all creative team workflows, establishes SLAs, and prioritizes and directs day-to-day tasks to ensure resources are delivering against those SLAs for the European markets
    • Builds a culture of continuous improvement of operational best practices (program/project intake, development, approval, production), identifying and solving gaps and emerging needs 
    • Works independently to source, vet, and recommend the best external partners, onboard new agencies, and lead agency RFPs and SOWs
    • Leads cross-functional development of agency and project briefs including SME recommendations to increase the probability of meeting business goals
    • Maintains a variety of external agency partners based on the breadth and depth of capabilities needed to deliver against road-mapped stakeholder needs
    • Drives alignment across Marketing teams, internal business partners, cross-functional teams, and external agencies by delivering concise, actionable feedback 
    • Acts as a hub for communication, driving key milestones meetings and tracking progress against goals, roadmaps, and deadlines
    • Routinely assesses progress against key strategic initiatives, program or performance parameters, and reporting status to leadership, stakeholders, and creative team(s)
    • Provides a full view inclusive of creative costs relative to business unit P&L and produces monthly performance recaps, including success stories, key learnings, and progress against program and project KPIs

Your Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of practical experience in creative and/or content program and project management, ideally within internal or agency creative teams
    • Demonstrated responsibility for delivering assets for multiple Western European markets is preferred
    • Experience working for a US company in the EU markets, leading efforts across global teams (and localizing campaigns) is a plus
    • Experience managing agency relationships
    • Strong data analysis skills; ability to use data and financial analysis to understand problems, identify options, and make decisions
    • Ability to build and foster strong stakeholder relationships, establish trust, and achieve alignment across the business
    • Current knowledge of various project management tools
    • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
    • The role is located in Barcelona, ES.
