Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee Royal’s Special Events Division, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service.
- Manage multiple complex projects with competing priorities, requiring attention to detail and adaptability.
- Provide incident management leadership in a variety of settings, ensuring seamless execution of emergency response and event logistics.
- Oversee staffing, recruitment, and personnel management for special events.
- Build and maintain relationships with private and governmental stakeholders to coordinate event planning and execution.
- Apply Royal’s values to personnel management, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
- Oversee supply logistics for special events.
- Deliver patient care at the appropriate licensure level in compliance with protocols.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling protected health information (PHI).
- Represent Royal Ambulance’s mission and values by actively participating in company-wide meetings and initiatives.
- Commit to an approximately four-week deployment in the Black Rock Desert, operating in a resource-limited and austere environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years in EMS and 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Proven team leadership experience in high-pressure environments.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities.
- Current EMT, Paramedic, or RN certification/licensure.
- Up-to-date TB tests and immunizations.
- Completion of FEMA Incident Command System (ICS) courses: IS-700, IS-800, ICS-100, ICS-200.
- ICS-300 and ICS-400 are strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in special events, live entertainment, and festival operations.
- Leadership experience within the Incident Command System (ICS).
- Proven ability to operate effectively in remote, austere environments with logistical challenges.

Physical Requirements
The employee is required to sit; climb or balance; step, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or carry up to 125 pounds and occasionally lift and/or carry up to 200 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Risk to exposure from blood-borne pathogens – 3 High Risk.
