EMT Qualification Questions

  • Are you legally authorized to work in the United States?
  • Are you at least 18 years of age or older?
  • Do you have an ACTIVE EMT Certification in the State of California? (Applied via County EMS Agency)
  • If you answered "Yes" to the previous question, on what date did you submit your county application?
  • Do you have a valid and active CPR card issued by the American Heart Association?
  • Do you have a minimum of two (2) years of licensed driving experience?
  • Do you have a valid Ambulance Drivers License (inclusive of a valid DOT Medical Examiners Certificate) issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles, or the ability to obtain one before starting employment?

  • Physical Agility Lift Test Requirement: This position requires the ability to regularly lift and maneuver at least 200 pounds as part of the daily job duties. Are you able to meet this requirement?
