What we are looking for:
RWS Group is looking for remote General Data Annotators to review responses from two models and determine which one correctly identified a proposed language.
- Task description: Language/dialect identification and labeling
- Volume: 781 samples
- Tools: The task will be completed using Squirrel (RWS’s easy-to-access annotation tool) or Google Sheets. Guidelines will be provided to help you understand how to use the Squirrel tool effectively.
- Hourly Rate: 13 USD
This is a freelance/contract position that is fully remote and flexible. You can work from anywhere and set your own hours, though the task must be completed by the assigned deadline.
Requirements:
- Native (or near-native) fluency in Nigerian Fulfulde
- Advanced level of English to follow written instructions
- Relevant BA or equivalent experience in linguistics, translation, or a related field
- Immediate availability
- Living in Nigeria is NOT a requirement
