Job Description: We are excited to welcome a motivated and aspiring individual as a CloudOps Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship opportunity is designed for someone who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to cutting-edge cloud solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in cloud technologies, with a focus on AWS. As a CloudOps Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in operational automation, release management, and various DevOps tasks.
Core Responsibilities:
- Operational Automation:
- Learn and assist in the development and implementation of automated solutions for operational tasks to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain exposure to streamlined and automated deployment processes.
- Release Management:
- Gain insights into planning, coordinating, and executing production releases in collaboration with development teams.
- Contribute to ensuring the stability and reliability of systems during and after releases.
- DevOps Tasks:
- Participate in regular DevOps tasks, including monitoring, alerting, and optimizing cloud resources.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of monitoring and alerting systems.
- FinOps:
- Learn about and contribute to implementing FinOps practices to optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
- Gain experience in analyzing and providing recommendations for cost-effective cloud solutions.
- SRE Tasks:
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and exercises.
- Contribute to building and enhancing systems for reliability and fault tolerance.
Essential Skills/ Qualification/ Experience
- Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in cloud technologies, with a focus on AWS.
- Eagerness to learn and develop skills in automation tools like Jenkins, Terraform, and Python
- Basic understanding of cloud resources and networking concepts
- Good to Have:
- Familiarity with Cloud Computing and Infrastructure as a Code (IaaC) concept
- Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
