We are strategically headquartered in Silicon Valley, with team members and office locations established in Perth, Australia, Tokyo, Japan and New Delhi, India that you would collaborate with on a regular basis.
As a Senior Staff Software Engineer (IOT) at SafeAI, you'll be at the heart of our robotic fleet management system, crafting intuitive solutions which integrate to all layers of the core SafeAI stack.
Key Responsibilities:
· Innovate, Build and maintain solutions for our FMS suite.
· Champion test-driven development with a focus on unit, integration, and functional testing.
· Implement and maintain cross functional applications.
· Ensure team and system scalability and performance.
· Collaborate with our international team, spread across the globe, on Product & Engineering using Agile methodologies.
· Uphold coding standards, conduct code reviews, and share best practices.
· Learn. Mentor and guide fellow engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
· Create prototypes and proofs-of-concept for iterative development
· Build feature from scratch or incrementally
· Collaborate with Product team to take feature live and iteratively improve
· Develop multi-tier scalable, high-volume performing, multi-threaded and reliable web services
Required Skills:
React, Nodejs, python, microservices and distributed architecture, mongodb, redshift, postgres, redshift, airflow, spark, ETL, ELK stack, RESTful APIs, GRPC, GraphQL, typescript, Web security principles (e.g., XSS, CSRF, SQL injection), Experience with frontend Graphics & non google Mapping libraries
Preferred Skills:
IOT protocols (Pure TCP, MQTT, DDS, WSS etc), C & C++, React, GoLang(Optional), GIS systems (Optional), ROS2
Minimum Qualifications:
· 10+ years of experience in the software industry
· Must know Authentication mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth)
· Must know Web security principles (e.g., XSS, CSRF, SQL injection)
· Experience in building real time systems and distributed systems.
· Exposure and understanding of full stack development.
· Deep expertise in communication protocols
· Strong experience with Python, nodejs
· Must have strong experience in building systems of scale and volume.
· Strong understanding of AWS ecosystem
· Must be aware of design patterns and how to implement them.
· Strong understanding of SOLID principles.
· Has built complex IOT or Data driven applications in the past.
