What's the role?

As National Sales Manage you’ll be the owner of the revenue target for the US region for the marketplace business unit, working closely with the Marketplace leadership team and the US go-to-market teams to develop and grow the US market.

As the voice of the US marketplace customers, you’ll be responsible for developing and closing a pipeline of opportunities from within the existing SafetyCulture user base and will be the sales expert both for the products listed on the marketplace as well as marketplace features within the SafetyCulture platform. 

Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a newly created role with opportunity to truly make an impact.

    • Be recognised as the sales leader for SC Marketplace USA and lead the direction of SafetyCulture’s go-to-market in this area.
    • Improve others’ ability to deliver great work and drive initiatives focused on this area and in doing so improve the way we do things.
    • Mentor colleagues, actively engage in building a culture of candid feedback, and help the Marketplace team give and receive constructive feedback.
    • We encourage involvement in the community, standards work and experimenting with new approaches.

What do I need?

    • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales plans that deliver on sales targets preferably within the PPE, Safety or First Aid market.
    • Demonstrated ability to build win:win outcomes for customers leading to long term, mutually beneficial commercial relationships.
    • Demonstrated ability to self manage and deliver high quality work at pace.
    • Exceptional communication skills face-2-face, via video and telephone and written.
    • Strong understanding and demonstrated use of core sales practices.
    • Ability to demonstrate SafetyCulture values (Think Customer, Open Honest Always, Better as a Team, Be Bold Bring Action)
    • Experience working within the safety, first aid, and PPE market (Desirable not essential)
    • Experience working with a nationwide e-commerce business (Desirable not essential)
    • Experience with direct customer sales to a range of customer types (Desirable not essential)
