Based in our vibrant Sydney HQ in Surry Hills, the Senior Product Manager be instrumental in shaping the end-to-end journey for new users – from their very first interaction through to conversion and long-term success. What you'll do:
Own the Journey: Lead the strategy and execution of frictionless onboarding flows and impactful monetisation experiences.
Drive Growth: Partner closely with design, engineering, data, and marketing teams to deliver innovative growth experiments.
Strategic Vision: Balance immediate impact with a long-term vision for scalable monetisation strategies.
Collaborate & Influence: Report to the Director of Product and own key relationships with Marketing, Support, Go To Market, Finance, and the broader business.

What are key responsibilities of the role?

    • Develop, own and execute the roadmap and strategy for growth capabilities such as onboarding, conversion and retention.
    • Use qualitative and quantitative data to identify opportunities to drive your product forward, and validate your impact.
    • Lead multiple, cross-functional development teams to deliver product experiences that delight and retain customers.
    • Collaborate with other product teams on dependencies and opportunities to build a holistic user experience across the SafetyCulture platform.
    • Communicate frequently to the broader business about your vision, roadmap, decisions and insights.
    • Own the success and metrics of your product area obsessively, and iterate effectively. 
    • Demonstrate thought-leadership within your immediate working group, and drive a culture of experimentation and customer-centricity across the broader product, design and engineering function.

What are key capabilities needed for the role?

    • Knowledge:
    • Deep understanding of product-led growth (PLG) strategies and frameworks.
    • Expertise in onboarding best practices, activation funnels, and retention levers.
    • Strong grasp of subscription models, pricing, packaging and monetisation mechanics.
    • Familiarity with growth experimentation, A/B testing, and data-driven decision making.
    • Understanding of analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Tableau) and growth metrics.

    • Skills:
    • Strong analytical skills — comfortable interpreting data to uncover new hypotheses.
    • Proficiency in defining and tracking key growth metrics.
    • Skilled at running structured growth experiments with clear hypotheses and success criteria.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively across design, engineering, marketing, and sales teams.
    • Strong product discovery skills — translate customer pain points into solutions.
    • Capable of balancing short-term growth wins with long-term strategic investments.
    • Strong storytelling and communication skills for influencing stakeholders and executives.
