As we continue to scale, an opportunity has arisen for a French-speaking Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll wear many hats and will act as a conduit between Sales, Success, Product, and Engineering. Using your technical expertise, you’ll craft solutions for our enterprise customers across Europe. Your collaborative and customer centric approach will help you build strong relationships with your team and SafetyCulture customers as you help ensure our customers reach their goals and succeed with the SafetyCulture platform.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partnering with sales and success teams both pre and post-sales to ensure enterprise customers are best set up for success within the SC platform
- Translating and communicating technical and non-technical requirements with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Building an understanding of SC’s core customer industries with knowledge on how to position the SC platform best
- Seamlessly collaborating with a wide variety of organisations’ architectures, best practices and processes
- Building technical solutions such as integrations with REST APIs, automations, and database optimisations
- Championing SC customers by partnering with our Product and Engineering teams to communicate customer requests and improvements
What you’ll need:
- Fluency in business-level English and French
- Strong problem solving skills. You’re able to take a customer challenge, translate that into requirements, then research and design a technical solution for them.
- Experience in a programming language - Golang, Javascript, or Python preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with an aptitude for managing multiple customers and quickly switching contexts to prioritise effectively
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience writing SQL queries and interacting with APIs.
- Preferred: Experience in automating repetitive tasks, with familiarity with an Integration Platform as a Service (IPaaS) such as Workato, Zapier, Power Automate, etc.
- Preferred: Experience working with a relational database technology such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Preferred: Flexibility to travel from Amsterdam to France to visit customers on site.
