Job Summary: 
Working as part of a full service marketing communications agency focused exclusively on the business of healthcare, the Marketing Account Lead will serve as the primary relationship manager for retained client relationships. This individual will be responsible for successfully leading client engagements — delivering highly satisfied clients, ensuring account retention, and facilitating account growth.
 
Responsibilities:
·      Manage 3-5 accounts; develop positive working relationships with all customer touch points
·      Ensure client retention and high satisfaction, leading to renewals and additional client engagements
·      Develop a trusted advisory relationship with accounts, customer stakeholders, and internal partners
·      Work closely with internal cross-disciplinary teams to deliver well-crafted and strategically sound campaigns, content, and related work product
·      Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to understand client goals and key performance metrics and exceed those goals throughout campaigns
·      Leverage technical tools and quantitative data to monitor, document, and share key performance metrics with clients manage campaigns to success, high customer satisfaction and renewal
·      Manage and lead weekly account status meetings
·      Adhere to established processes and workflows, as it relates to campaign set-up, strategy, creative execution, campaign management, and any troubleshooting necessary with creative assets and campaign reporting
·      Strive for continual improvement, by providing input on new processes and workflows as needed
·      Focus on ensuring superior customer service levels, operational excellence and strategic insight
·      Maintain a hyper-focus on the delivery of highly referenceable clients and work product (campaigns, content, creative, etc.)
 
Skills needed:
·      Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
·      5+ years of relevant work experience in account management, campaign planning and marketing communications
·      Healthcare experience in any of the following organization types: provider, health plan, technology, economics, media, or policy 
·      Proven campaign planning capabilities
·      Confident communication (written and oral) skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organizations
·      Able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables
·      Business acumen, sound decision making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast paced environment; a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships
·      Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels of a business
·      Project and program management experience; knowledge of key concepts including phases, plans, deliverables, scope and tasks
·      Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, balancing client deliverables on multiple projects as well as internal obligations
·      Passion about business and dissatisfaction with status quo – always thinking of ways to improve/grow assigned clients
·      Strong analytical skills
·      Exceptional writing skills
·      Demonstrated ability to work independently and remain motivated
·      Thrive in a fast paced and deadline driven agency environment
