The Opportunity
SAIT's School of Hospitality and Tourism is hiring a Curriculum & Academic Records Coordinator!
Join Canada’s top-ranked hospitality and culinary school as a key team member supporting curriculum and academic processes. You'll manage and maintain curriculum records, ensure system updates, and assist faculty and leadership with academic documentation, compliance, and reporting. This role also leads the development of a data and records management system to support informed decision-making.
The Role
- Maintain accurate program/course records; process curriculum changes
- Guide faculty on curriculum processes and standards; develop SOP’s
- Support governance, compliance, and quality assurance reporting
- Design and manage systems for academic records and data tracking
- Develop reports and dashboards for leadership insights
- Administer tools like Banner, D2L Brightspace, Curriculog, Acalog, SharePoint, Tableau, and Smartsheet
- Coordinate textbook orders and the Student Feedback Questionnaire process
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the administrative team and ensure smooth office operations
Qualifications
- Minimum post-secondary diploma in administration, education, project management or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of administrative or related experience
- Certification or evidence of advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
- Proficient in adopting and leveraging new technologies to enhance efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience in educational institute preferred
- Preference will be given to applicants with experience in curriculum administration and processes at a post-secondary level
- Familiarity with Banner, D2L Brightspace, Curriculog, Acalog, SharePoint, Tableau, and Smartsheet
- A combination of education and experience may be considered
