The Opportunity

Are you passionate about shaping transformative student experiences? We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as Manager, Learner Experience. In this role, you’ll lead initiatives that enhance the learner journey from enrolment to graduation, ensuring students are helped, engaged, and empowered throughout their academic path.

You’ll manage a dedicated team and collaborate with faculty, advisors, and institutional leaders to deliver innovative programs and services that drive student success, retention, and satisfaction. The Role

    • Strategic Leadership 
    • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional learner experiences.
    • Build and oversee student employment pathways including volunteer, casual, and part-time roles.
    • Hire, train, and manage staff with clear goals and expectations.
    • Plan and manage workloads, budgets, and resources to meet student and institutional needs.
    • Design and implement strategies to enhance the learner experience across the student lifecycle.

    • Data-Informed Decision Making
    • Gather, analyze, and interpret student experience data to identify trends and support continuous improvement.
    • Define and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to student experience, persistence, retention, and satisfaction.

    • Student Engagement & Support
    • Coordinate student engagement programs, events, and career readiness initiatives.
    • Lead student ambassador programs and other student engagement initiatives across the school.
    • Drive innovation that supports positive student experiences from enrolment through graduation.

    • Collaboration & Relationship Building
    • Collaborate with school and institutional leadership to align initiatives with strategic goals.
    • Build strong relationships with faculty, advisors, and institutional partners.
    • Identify and implement technologies that enhance student engagement and support.

Qualifications & Experience

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
    • Minimum 5 years of experience working within student support in post-secondary education, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
    • Knowledge of learner engagement, retention strategies, and student support services.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel Expert Certification preferred.
    • Familiarity with virtual onboarding platforms, learning management systems, and student data systems.
    • Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
    • Excellent ability to engage and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
    • Proven project management experience with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives.
    • Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving approach.
    • Ability to adapt and contribute effectively in a dynamic and evolving academic environment.
    • Dedicated to creating a sense of belonging in all aspects of student support and programming.
    • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute student-focused events and initiatives with strong organizational and time management skills.
Job classification: Manager
Salary range: $110,000 - 130,000
Paid Leave: 4 Weeks Vacation / 14 Flex Days per year
