The Solution Consultant is someone who is passionate about telecom technologies and solving challenges that large enterprises encounter while managing their telecom ecosystem. In this role, you will be partnering with an enterprise sales team and with channel partners to discover and understand the customer’s needs, architect solutions, strategize on win themes and ultimately
close business.

Key Responsibilities

    • Investigate, discover and assess client pain points; map client business and technical requirements to Sakon’s capabilities.
    • Create and deliver deeply compelling presentations and software demonstrations to customers and prospects, clearly communicating the value and differentiation of the Sakon TEM platform, while showing how we solve for their business challenges.
    • Prepare responses to RFI/RFP/RFQ by utilizing existing RFP library content and drafting new content when required; coordinating and interfacing with diverse sources to understand and clearly articulate Sakon capabilities.
    • Serve as Project Manager, leading all requirements related to successful execution of
    • Proof of Concept engagements in order to exceed client expectations.
    • Partner with our Sales Team to develop winning account strategies, helping Sakon to achieve revenue goals.
    • Produce well-documented client solution requirements, including Statements of Work, noting any exceptions to standard offerings to ensure a seamless transition from Sales to Implementation.
    • Travel to customer locations to deliver software demonstrations, conduct discovery sessions and lead solutioning conversations.
    • Build and maintain relationships throughout Sakon’s TEM Business Unit including Sales, Solution Consulting, Product Management, Implementation and Service Delivery.
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of competitors in the TEM industry.

Skills and Experience

    • Qualified candidates will have a BA or BS degree.
    • Preferred candidate will have 5+ years’ experience working in an enterprise organization supporting telecom lifecycle activities or similar TEM-dependent business processes.
    • Able to articulate and logically communicate concepts with both technical and nontechnical audiences.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills including the ability to explain and understand technical and business concepts.
    • Demonstrated ability to work as a team and independently, with minimal direct supervision.
    • Deep domain knowledge of business processes pertaining specifically to TEM and the enterprise Telecom Lifecycle.
    • Good planning and time management skills.
    • Strong active listening skills and effective questioning techniques to ensure client challenges are uncovered, documented and addressed.
    • Experience working with clients to extract, distill, document and present business challenges and solutions to clients using Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
    • Travel 30%-50% for customer engagements and team meetings. Telecommuting available outside of travel requirements.
