Sakon is headquartered in Concord, MA with additional locations across North America, Europe, and India.

We are looking for a Business Analysts to work at our corporate headquarters in Concord, MA.  The successful candidate will be someone who can track a project with multiple stakeholders, identify potential problem areas and work with project stakeholders to define and document business processes and software configuration requirements. He or she must be able to communicate well, both verbally and in writing with technical, financial and executive personnel. The successful candidate will be respectfully relentless in focusing a diverse team to deliver the necessary deliverables on time.

About the Role:

    • Interview stakeholders to identify and document goals, project success criteria and current business processes
    • Define the business problem and primary objectives of new projects.
    • Identify and validate the key business requirements.
    • Analyze business needs and solutions, and devise strategies to meet those business needs.
    • Identify business, service or service delivery processes/concepts and help to create a workable process/solution framework and documentation.
    • Understand, documents and communicate the business requirements and stay in alignment with business sponsor, stakeholders, and management.
    • Identify and resolve issues critical to the clients' strategic and operational success.
    • Analyze and model the business domain to create a complete picture of work-flows and technical requirements fulfilled by existing and proposed software.
    • Lead cross-functional business process re-engineering teams and continuous improvement efforts.
    • Create functional requirements in use cases.
    • Coordinate requirements walk-through and sign-offs, verifying with user representatives/stakeholders that use cases and process models accurately portray specific business needs.
    • Contribute to project plans.
    • Develop conclusions and recommendations.
    • Interface with Partner implementation and account management team to ensure a seamless service delivery to the end customer.
    • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction.

Skills and Experience:

    • 3-5 years of post-college business experience working within the telecoms industry or corporate telecom department, with a proven history of implementing and adhering to excellent service management principles.
    • Experience or working knowledge of Accounting and/or Finance experience with Cost Allocation, Invoice Payment or Processing, and Enterprise Financial Systems.
    • Experience in Telecom Billing Systems, Fixed Line Telecommunications Inventory Management and/or Provisioning, and Enterprise Networking strongly desired.
    • Strong MS Excel skills, knowledge of MS Project or equivalent.
    • Spanish and/or Portuguese proficiency a plus.
