Salvo Health is looking for a detail-oriented, medically savvy Part-Time Clinical Content Manager to lead the creation, review, and management of all clinical and patient-facing content across web, social, and in-app patient-facing channels. This role bridges clinical accuracy with engaging communication, ensuring that our digital content is trustworthy, accessible, and aligned with our brand.
This is a fully remote position, reporting to the Chief Medical Officer. The role is expected to require 10-20 hours of dedicated time per week to start with potential for expansion over time.
Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and manage Salvo’s library of medically-accurate content, including educational materials, in-app copy, blogs, and social media posts.
- Enter content into our Content Management System with proper tags and taxonomy.
- Translate clinical information into clear, compassionate language at a 6th-8th grade reading level for patients and caregivers.
- Ensure all content aligns with current clinical guidelines, regulatory standards, and brand tone and is reviewed by the proper stakeholders.
- Create simple, visually engaging assets for digital content, as needed (e.g., infographics, social media graphics, slide decks, patient handouts).
- Maintain consistency in brand visual identity across platforms.
- Collaborate with design, clinical, product, and partnerships teams to bring ideas to life visually.
- Create posts (copy + visuals) for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Monitor social engagement and performance, and iterate content based on insights.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare content creation, copywriting, or digital marketing.
- Experience in telehealth, digital health, or health tech startups preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to create both written and visual content.
- Strong understanding of clinical/medical terminology and evidence-based health communication.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Experience managing social media for a brand or organization.
- Excellent project management and organization skills.
- Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare content compliance.
- Video or motion graphics skills nice to have.
$45 - $60 an hour
