We have an amazing story with a unique perspective on culture formed by a global footprint of data and AI-driven insights.

Samba TV is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Director of Product Management to lead the evolution of our Outcomes measurement solutions into a comprehensive, global suite of capabilities. This role is critical to Samba's Activation Go-To-Market (GTM) vision, which aims to transform the company from a transactional media activation entity into a strategic partner for brands and agencies deeply involved across the entire campaign lifecycle: Plan, Activate, and Measure (PAM).

As Director of Outcomes, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy that positions Samba's Outcomes Measurement Platform, as a core enabler and driver of growth for the Activation business. You will work to integrate Outcomes seamlessly with Audience and Planning within the PAM framework. This role requires a deep understanding of the measurement landscape, the needs of various customer types including media buyers, publisher resale partners, and agency customers, and the ability to drive product innovation in a complex, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Product Vision & Strategy: Define and lead the near- and long-term strategy for Samba’s global Outcomes platform, ensuring alignment with GTM priorities.
    • Roadmap Ownership: Drive the product roadmap across key initiatives including platform extensibility, clean room solutions, bundled offerings, streaming integration, automation, and internationalization. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Data Science, and cross-functional partners.
    • Measurement-Led Activation (MLA): Advance campaign analytics to in-flight, outcome-based activation by integrating measurement into audience creation workflows.
    • CPO & Performance-Based Products: Develop offerings that support Cost Per Outcome and guaranteed reach models, leveraging self-optimizing segments and unified activation-measurement workflows.
    • Customer & Use Case Growth: Expand the platform to serve brands, agencies, platforms, and channel partners. Prioritize high-impact use cases across key verticals.
    • Data & Methodology Integration: Ensure seamless use of diverse data sets—including first-party, contextual, and viewership—while aligning with audience and measurement methodologies.
    • Clean Room Enablement: Support outcome measurement using clients’ first-party data via Samba’s clean room integrations, including BYOO (Bring Your Own Outcome) use cases.
    • Market Enablement: Collaborate with Product Marketing to streamline messaging, packaging, and training to drive adoption and sales success.
    • Global Expansion: Support international rollout by addressing local data requirements and aligning with regional GTM strategies.

Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in product management within the ad tech or digital measurement industry.
    • Experience developing and launching measurement or analytics products, particularly those related to campaign outcomes, conversions, or business results.
    • Strong understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including DSPs, SSPs, agencies, and brands.
    • Familiarity with various measurement methodologies.
    • Experience working with large datasets and collaborating with Data Science and Engineering teams.
    • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise product strategies and market messaging.
    • Experience working with global teams and understanding different market needs (e.g., US vs. UK/EU).
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desired Skills:

    • Experience with Clean Room technologies.
    • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in measurement or audience optimization.
    • Experience with white-labeling or gray-labeling platform solutions for agencies.
