The Programmatic Consultant role is an exciting opportunity to develop your technical acumen and client-facing skills at the cutting edge of the CTV and programmatic landscape. In this position, you will provide world-class customer support for our programmatic customers and work cross-functionally with internal teams to maximize the impact and value of our PMP and Data products. The ideal candidates are expert campaign optimizers with an adept understanding of the various hierarchies and nuances of multiple DSPs who can take a dataset and turn it into insights that result in campaign extensions and incremental spend. We move fast and the ideal candidate must be willing to constantly adapt to new situations and challenges.
Requirements: must live within 50 miles of a Samba Office in NYC, LA, CHI, or SF. Required in office 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday)
with a possibility of increasing in the future.
How you will grow:
- Partnering with Sales for the full life cycle of programmatic campaigns (planning/strategy, activation/troubleshooting, consultation/renewal)
- Analyzing internal and client reports to provide tailored performance recommendations to our customers according to their preferred platforms, budgets, and KPIs
- Driving revenue through campaign extensions, incremental, and renewals
- Becoming a primary expert of Samba’s product offerings, proprietary tools, SSPs, and DMPs
- Identifying pain points and inefficiencies to help develop best practices/processes
- Onboarding new publisher integrations, ensuring data passback, traffic quality, and scale
- Working cross-functionally with product, research, data, finance, and revenue operations
- Developing training material and documentation for both internal teams and customers
- Managing and improving the monthly revenue reconciliation process for programmatic revenue
- Training and Mentoring Associate Programmatic Consultants

What you bring:
- 3+ years of digital operations experience (ad ops/data ops/technical account management/programmatic solutions consultant)
- 1+ years directly or indirectly training and mentoring a digital operations team
- DSP experience a must (The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon DSP, MediaMath, OneView, Xandr Invest, Yahoo!, Amobee, Adelphic, etc)
- DMP experience is a must (Liveramp, Lotame, Adform, etc)
- SSP experience is a must (Xandr Monetize/Curate, PubMatic, Freewheel, SpotX, Magnite, SpringServe, etc)
- CRM/Project management tool experience is a must (Salesforce, Jira, Asana, Trello, etc)
- Proficient in Excel (sumifs, index match, pivot tables, vlookups, etc); SQL is a plus
- Keen understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem
- Problem solver’s mindset with strong project and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- BA/BS with industry emphasis or related experience
$75,000 - $85,000 a year
Samba TV expects to offer a base salary between $75,000 - $85,000 USD per year for roles to be performed in New York City or California; actual base salary offered will depend on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Base salary is just one component of Samba TV’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, short-term incentives and long-term incentives.
