This role will support the planning and execution of our in-person and virtual events, including Samba-hosted experiences, industry events, participation in major tentpoles (CES, Cannes Lions, etc.), partner activations, and webinars. The Event Planner will work closely with our Events Lead and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional, brand-defining experiences that drive engagement, strengthen relationships, and elevate Samba in the market.

Responsibilities

    • Plan and manage events end-to-end — partner with the Events Lead to oversee timelines, budgets, vendors, venues, catering, AV, shipping, travel, onsite staffing, and production details across Samba-hosted events, industry events, sponsorship activations, and webinars.
    • Coordinate sponsorships and partnerships — manage contract execution, deliverables, and ensure brand visibility and fulfillment of benefits.
    • Drive cross-functional alignment — collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Creative teams to align event and sponsorship goals with business objectives, branding, collateral, and executive participation.
    • Execute seamless experiences — oversee onsite and online delivery, manage guest lists, RSVPs, registration, customer/partner communications, and act as point-of-contact for vendors, speakers, sponsors, and attendees.
    • Manage audience engagement — build and maintain invitee lists, ensure accurate outreach and follow-up, and support executive participation in panels, speaking slots, and networking opportunities.
    • Measure and optimize performance — track KPIs including attendance, engagement, meetings, MQLs, influenced and attributed revenue, budget spend, and ROI. Provide post-event reporting, insights, and lead capture to improve future investments.

Qualifications & Experience

    • 2–4 years of experience in event coordination, preferably in technology, advertising, or media.
    • Demonstrated success supporting in-person events and online events.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills — able to work effectively across teams and with senior stakeholders.
    • Experience working with event platforms (Zoom, ON24, Hopin, Cvent, etc.) a plus.
    • Willingness to travel for major events.
    • Creative problem-solver with a proactive, hands-on approach.

What We Offer

    • Opportunity to help shape high-visibility events and sponsorships at the center of the media, data, and technology ecosystem.
    • Exposure to industry leaders, top-tier partners, and global stages.
    • A collaborative and fast-moving team environment with room to grow your career.
