As our Broker Operations Specialist, you'll be at the center of our broker relationships—the vital connections that help us bring our innovative solutions to more businesses. You'll manage Agent of Record (AOR) changes, broker appointments, and RFP processing with precision and care. While you'll initially focus on operational excellence rather than process development, this role offers a clear growth trajectory toward the Senior Broker Operations Specialist position. A successful Broker Operations Specialist is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in communication. This role will work cross-functionally with the Sales, Underwriting, and Customer Success teams.

What you will do

    • Manage daily broker communications, monitoring inboxes for RFPs, AOR changes, and miscellaneous broker service inquiries.
    • Execute Agent of Record (AOR) changes and broker appointments, ensuring proper tracking and documentation.
    • Maintain Brokerage & Producer records in Salesforce.
    • Support broker firm and producer changes related to AOR transitions, mergers, and acquisitions.
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of RFP submissions, coordinating with Account Executives to facilitate timely quoting.
    • Provide first-line customer support to brokers regarding commissions, appointment paperwork, and RFP status.
    • Work closely with Sales, Underwriting, and Customer Success teams to ensure operational efficiency.
    • Collaborate with the Senior Broker Operations Specialist on process improvement initiatives as needed.

About you

    • Undergraduate degree in business, healthcare, or a technical field.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Experience using Salesforce, Gmail, and Excel.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain attention to detail.
    • Customer-focused with a problem-solving mindset.
    • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

$55,000 - $70,000 a year
Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $55,000 -$70,000 base + equity per year for all US-based remote locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
