Sanctuary, a world leader in building AI-based control systems for humanoid robots, is looking to hire a skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager, Hardware to join our Hardware team. The Technical Project Manager, Hardware is a crucial part of our team, supporting the design, architecture, and implementation of our advanced robotic systems. Reporting to the Vice President of Hardware, you’ll contribute to the overall success and effectiveness of our projects.

As Sanctuary’s Technical Project Manager, Hardware, you'll be a valued part of the team as you support the continued improvement in our Hardware function, own the coordination of team project deliverables, and innovate best practices that drive continuous improvements in the design, architecture, and implementation of our advanced robotic systems.

Our Success Criteria

    • Build and maintain schedules, Gantt charts, and Kanban boards for the Research and Development and Integration Teams
    • Interview engineers, parse project details into schedules, provide weekly progress reports, and maintain project management documentation
    • Ensure important messages and risks are communicated to stakeholders in time and with the right format
    • Identify inefficiencies, propose/implement solutions, and implement processes and automation for improved efficiency and speed
    • Support the program life cycle, run life cycle meetings, and facilitate V&V/QA support
    • Discuss and stay up to date with the Product owner.
    • Collect and articulate product requirements and project requirements to create realistic execution plans
    • Be the voice of the engineering group when talking to internal and external customers, and vice versa
    • Manage team confluence, shipping/receiving, purchasing, and hiring processes
    • Assist with lab purchasing and organization, ensuring continuous improvement

    • Your Experience
      Qualifications
    • Diploma/Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, engineering physics, a related technical field, or equivalent work experience
    • PM tasks, follow up on time-critical tasks, risk/cost/schedule estimates, perform schedule health checks, and support ICs in filling out required research and engineering documents

    • Skills
    • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies in multi-disciplinary environments
    • Experience with purchasing, shipping/receiving, and hiring processes
    • Deep knowledge of project risk, cost, and schedule estimation
    • Excellent communication skills
