We’re looking for a New Product Integration (NPI) Technician to join our team. This role is a critical bridge between engineering, manufacturing, and product teams—ensuring that new designs are ready for low-rate production and scaling with quality, speed, and precision.
You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge marine and autonomous systems, helping to bring prototypes into reality and iterate rapidly toward production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities:

    • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical systems for autonomous surface vessels.
    • Ability to rework, modify and assemble PCBA’s.
    • Proficient in assembling military or aerospace grade connectors.
    • Ability to rapidly produce prototype electrical harnesses based off minimal instruction.
    • Conduct electrical checks and diagnostics on wiring harnesses, circuit boards, sensors, motors, and other critical components.
    • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers) to assess electrical functionality.
    • Identify and resolve electrical issues or failures by interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
    • Maintain a detailed log of all test results, repairs, and modifications.
    • Assist with the setup and calibration of electrical equipment requested for new integration onto autonomous vessels.
    • Provide feedback to the design and engineering teams to improve product designs and streamline the testing process, provide necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience in an electrical technician or similar role, ideally in a high-tech manufacturing environment (experience in autonomous systems or defense is a plus).
    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and schematics.
    • Proficiency with diagnostic tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
    • Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, testing, and troubleshooting in complex systems.
    • Familiarity with industry standards for electrical safety and compliance (e.g., IPC standards, MIL-STD).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality results.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
    • Experience working with autonomous systems, unmanned vehicles, or defense technologies.
    • Familiarity with embedded systems, sensors, and controllers used in autonomous vessels.
    • Knowledge of software tools for electrical system testing and diagnostics.
