Job Overview
We are seeking a Labeler to support our software team by annotating and organizing key datasets for our machine-learning models. Responsibilities include ensuring data quality and accuracy and enabling our autonomous surface vessels to navigate and operate more effectively.
Responsibilities
- Annotate large volumes of image and video data, focusing on identifying vessels, objects, environmental markers, and other relevant elements
- Ensure labeling accuracy and consistency across the dataset, adhering to annotation guidelines and quality standards
- Collaborate with the data science and engineering teams to refine labeling protocols and enhance labeling tools
- Provide feedback on data labeling processes, identifying areas for improvement in data quality and workflow efficiency
- Conduct regular quality checks and reviews of annotated data to ensure alignment with project requirements
- Participate in team meetings to stay updated on project goals, timelines, and quality benchmarks
Qualifications
- Experience in data labeling or annotation in computer vision, image processing, machine learning, or related field
- Basic understanding of maritime environments or experience labeling for autonomous systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across large datasets
- Familiarity with data annotation tools like Labelbox, CVAT, or similar
- Ability to follow specific guidelines and meet project deadlines
