Job Overview
We are seeking an Industrial Engineer Intern to support our manufacturing engineering team. You will work in a dynamic environment at the forefront of autonomous maritime technology and directly impact how we build and scale our autonomous service vessels.
Responsibilities
- Work on manufacturing-related projects, aimed at improving efficiency, organization, and scalability of our production processes
- Conduct time studies and workflow analyses
- Improve manufacturing floor layout and organization
- Drive process improvement initiatives
- Assist with database analysis for production tracking and planning
- Contribute to light tool and fixture design
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Eager to gain hands-on manufacturing experience in a startup setting
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with manufacturing principles
