Job Overview
We are seeking an Industrial Engineer Intern to support our manufacturing engineering team. You will work in a dynamic environment at the forefront of autonomous maritime technology and directly impact how we build and scale our autonomous service vessels.

Responsibilities

    • Work on manufacturing-related projects, aimed at improving efficiency, organization, and scalability of our production processes
    • Conduct time studies and workflow analyses
    • Improve manufacturing floor layout and organization
    • Drive process improvement initiatives
    • Assist with database analysis for production tracking and planning
    • Contribute to light tool and fixture design
    • Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles

Qualifications

    • Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
    • Eager to gain hands-on manufacturing experience in a startup setting
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Familiarity with manufacturing principles

Physical Demands

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.  
    • Occasional standing and walking within the office.  
    • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.  
    • Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports.  
    • Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies.  
    • Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages).
