ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking an office receptionist, or as we like to call it, a “Director of First Impressions,” who will manage the daily operations of our Dallas office to ensure a welcoming, efficient, and professional work environment. This position will interact with internal and external stakeholders and provide light administrative support to the team to help fulfill business unit and firm objectives, which are designed to achieve our purpose and uphold our values and guiding principles. The position is full-time, in-person in the office Monday-Friday. Ideal candidates are exceptionally polished, exhibit a warm and friendly disposition, are self-motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Representative Responsibilities
- Executing the daily office checklist, which consists of opening and closing tasks and the maintenance and thoughtful upkeep of the general office appearance and ambiance. This includes some light cleaning and tidying.
- Cultivating and nurturing a warm, thriving office by managing a cheery, professional reception area; ensuring the office space remains tidy, organized, and inviting; greeting and offering support to guests; and maintaining conference rooms for the team members hosting meetings in the office.
- Maintaining the office kitchen and grocery budget and inventory, continually seeking the optimal balance of cost reduction/control with ease of ordering, expensing, and availability.
- Maintaining the office supply inventory in the same manner, while also ensuring the office supply storage areas remain organized and decluttered to allow ease of locating supplies.
- Documenting, recording, and maintaining administrative tasks, processes, and instruction guides in office management SmartSheet workspace and office management operations manual.
- Lending your time and unique talents to various projects and initiatives in support of the private equity business unit and firm operations team as needs arise (e.g., support for sourcing consultants, book distribution, meeting and logistics planning, research, thought leadership project support, etc.), always with a “happy to help” teamwork mentality.
- Coordinating and distributing incoming and outgoing mail including Federal Express, UPS, USPS, and courier services.
- Providing administrative support to team members and guests such as the preparation of routine correspondence, editing and proofreading documents, scanning, and small miscellaneous projects.
- Acting as administrative liaison between the Satori Dallas and Fort Worth offices.
- Serving as the Dallas office community service coordinator, arranging Satori Serves events, and other events in support of our community and partners.
- Promoting and demonstrating “living our values” in accordance with the firm’s values and guiding principles.
- Collaborating with the firm operations team to coordinate and execute the logistics associated with firmwide and office events (internal team events and external stakeholder events).
- Occasionally provide back-up reception coverage for the Fort Worth office when needed.

Education, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent skills and experience
- A minimum of four years of receptionist, administrative, and/or customer service experience in a high-performing environment
- Polished written communication skills, including a firm grasp of grammar and punctuation
- Good computer software skills; interested in using the most current and innovative technology
- Proven track record of providing an extraordinary guest experience
- Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment
