Satori Capital is a Texas-based multi-strategy investment firm founded upon the principles of conscious capitalism. Satori’s private equity business partners with leadership teams of companies with $5 million to $25 million of EBITDA that operate with a long-term perspective, commit to their mission or purpose, and create value for all stakeholders. Satori’s alternatives investment platform, Satori Alpha, creates and manages customized portfolios designed to meet the unique objectives of institutions, family offices, and sophisticated private investors. The firm currently manages more than $600 million of committed capital, approximately $200 million of which is dedicated to its private equity business.

Satori’s investors and fund structure provide the firm with a distinct competitive advantage. Satori’s investors are almost exclusively family offices and current and former chief executive officers, many of whom have operated multi-generational family businesses that are similar to those in which the firm seeks to invest. As a result, they are well aligned with the firm’s long-term strategy and serve as an outstanding source of patient capital. Satori’s unique fund structure affords the flexibility to hold investments indefinitely and enables it to build businesses that become defensible industry leaders. Together, the fund investors and structure empower and encourage management teams to implement decisions that benefit all stakeholders without the short-term pressure that pushes managers of many businesses to reward one stakeholder at the expense of others.
