Business Development Operations Intern - Satori Alpha

The Business Development operations intern will support Satori Alpha / XL’s
Director of Business Development across all marketing and fundraising efforts. We
are looking for someone with hyper-organization skills and impressive attention to
detail. She/he will have a unique opportunity to observe how relationships and
trust are built across the investment community while supporting the behind the
scenes operational processes and overall strategy. The position reports directly to
the Director of Business Development.

Key Responsibilities

    • Own the team’s organization processes and create a system to track repeatable processes that have the potential to be made more efficient
    • Conduct research on prospective investors and assemble pre-meeting notes ahead of key conversations with prospective investors
    • Manage the Business Development calendar by scheduling and confirming all upcoming meetings/calls
    • Create organization within a cloud based folder system for Satori Alpha and Satori XL partners marketing materials
    • Create suggested lists for upcoming travel based on information housed in the firm’s CRM system
    • Take notes when available by logging all interactions in a CRM (client relationship management software) and tracking spreadsheet
    • Track necessary follow ups and maintain a calendar of necessary reminders
    • Assist with event planning from time to time
    • Assist with new prospect sourcing
    • Promote and demonstrate “living our values” in accordance with the firm’s core ideology

    • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree with interest in financial services, investment management, or sales and marketing
    • Advanced writing, both written and verbal, and organizational skills
    • Excellent references that can speak to responsibility and maturity
Term/Time Commitment
6-month internship term
Preferred availability on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with a minimum of 4-6 hours per day.
