About Savage Interactive
Savage Interactive are the creators of Procreate, the leading creative application on iOS used by the world’s top creative professionals and millions of artists world-wide. Our team is made up of a rare breed of people who are exceptionally driven and dedicated to helping people unleash their full artistic potential.

We stand by producing the highest quality of work and protecting creativity. We care about our work, our community, and most of all, each other. We’re looking for someone with the same level of care and hunger to join us on our journey to go beyond what exists now.

If you’re excited to solve deeply challenging technical problems, this is the place for you.

Valkyrie, the fastest 64-bit painting engine on iOS
Our custom engine, Valkyrie, moves as fast as the hand can sketch, paint or draw.

Procreate takes full advantage of Apple's Metal architecture and is the fastest 64-bit painting engine on iOS. To deliver exceptional user experience, we continue to develop next generation technologies that push the boundaries of latency and performance, exclusively on Apple GPUs.

This is where you will shine.

Go back to first principles
Procreate’s success is built upon creativity and the courage to leave legacy behind. We challenge existing technologies to bring new ideas to life. If you love applying creative thinking to solve complex problems, we would absolutely love to hear from you.

Main pillars of this role

    • Research and development of custom GPU technologies, particularly in real-time rendering and shaders
    • General compute and systems programming (in C and Metal)
    • Optimizing GPU performance using a tool-based approach

We would love to see examples of work which demonstrates

    • Deep understanding of GPU hardware and effective utilization
    • Expertise with graphic APIs, such as Vulkan, Metal, DirectX12, or consoles
    • Customising existing engines or custom built engines

    • We value true passion and technical ability over qualifications. Don't hesitate to apply even if you're a self-taught engineer or come from a non-traditional background!
We believe in cultivating a diverse and inclusive environment for all

Savage Interactive values diversity in our workplace and community. Discrimination of any kind is unacceptable to us. Our diversity is our strength, and we are constantly working to improve our practices to make sure that we are representative of the society and world in which we live. In our interactions, we make every effort to ensure that all people are provided with the assistance they need to participate in the interview process, the performance of their work functions and the general enjoyment of their life at Savage.
