Duties and Responsibilities

    • The Business Continuity Management Lead shall design, implement, monitor and enhance the business continuity management system (BCMS) of SAVii to ensure the effective adoption of leading practices that are commensurate with the complexity of its business operations.
    • Conduct business impact analyses (BIAs) and risk assessments
    • Assist in the formulation of recovery and resumption strategies
    • Develop and assist in the creation and enhancement of business continuity plans (BCPs)
    • Coordinate, design, and facilitate business continuity test exercises
    • Enhance the business continuity management competencies and culture of SAVii

Qualifications

    • 4-5 years of professional experience in business continuity management or related field.
    • Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing business continuity management systems (BCMS) in complex business environments.
    • Certification in Business Continuity Planning (CBCP) from a recognized institution (DRII, BCI, etc.) is preferred but not required
    • Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, business impact analysis, and recovery strategies.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders and facilitate exercises and training sessions.
    • Proficiency in using business continuity software and tools for planning, testing, and documentation.
    • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and complete projects within defined timelines and budget constraints.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage others in adopting a business continuity culture within the organization.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners to develop, implement, and test business continuity plans.
    • Experience in coordinating and leading cross-functional teams during incident response and recovery efforts.
    • Commitment to continuous improvement by actively seeking feedback, evaluating the effectiveness of business continuity plans, and making necessary adjustments to enhance the BCMS.
