Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive the design, testing, implementation, monitoring and documenting of credit strategies to achieve business goals
- Drive consumer oriented policies for current and new products ○ Design client acquisition policies to help manage overall risk
- Develop data driven Re-sell and cross-sell strategies
- Test and maintain pricing & eligibility to ensure profitability
- Work with other functions to develop and implement appropriate strategy, portfolio and credit risk management analysis, and controls
- Lead research initiatives to investigate the portfolio’s risk composition ahead of industry risk migrations
- Explore opportunities of additional data points for portfolio tracking, strategy development and modeling.
- Portfolio management framework
- Research and analyze data, preparing and presenting analytical information and trends
- Ensuring integrity of the company’s portfolio data periodically
- Conduct research investigating quantitative measurement of portfolio performance
- Develop standardized and ad hoc reports, and key portfolio management analyses like Risk-Return, Business Performance, Delinquencies, Losses, and Recoveries for regular use.
- Collaborate with the various teams to create and maintain a proper investors reporting framework.
- Collaborate on special projects in support of other teams related to risk and profitability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in a field such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or Statistics) and experience in banking or related industry
- Strong financial and risk knowledge
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
- Knowledge of SQL or similar data extraction tools
- Good communications, interpersonal skills, eye for detail, and teamwork
- Good Quantitative Aptitude and problem solving skill
