Duties and Responsibilities

    • As a Loans Officer, you will:
    • To approve loans within specified limits and refer loan applications outside those limits to management for approval
    • To obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the  process 
    • To explain to customers (1) the different types of loans and credit options that are  available and (2) the terms of those services 
    • To obtain and compile copies of loan applicants’ credit histories, corporate financial  statements, and other financial information 
    • To review and update credit and loan files 
    • To review loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according  to policy
    • Review documents, do ID verification - process of RKYC review (policy is met & processed within quality standards)
    • To stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products in  order to better meet customers’ needs 
    • Be responsible for answering inquiries of borrowers via phone call, chat, email, or  any other communication tools 
    • Perform additional tasks assigned by the immediate manager or Department Head  as required to meet the business needs

Qualifications

    • Excellent Communication skills in both verbal and written English
    • Must be confident and comfortable in receiving inbound and making outbound calls  and in responding to emails 
    • Must be highly detail-oriented with the ability to focus on specific information and to  identify issues and errors 
    • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment 
    • Must be willing to work on shifting schedule 
    • With reliable wired/wireless internet connection with minimum of 10MBPS
