We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pricing Analyst to join our Product management team. As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our product pricing strategies to maximize revenue, enhance customer value, and drive overall business growth. Your analytical prowess, strategic thinking, and market insights will directly influence our pricing decisions, ensuring that our products remain competitive and aligned with market demands.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Strategy, Marketing, and Product Management, to develop and refine pricing strategies for our SaaS offerings. Leverage market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to make informed pricing recommendations.
    • Data Analysis: Analyze pricing data, customer segmentation, and usage patterns to identify pricing opportunities, trends, and areas for improvement. Extract actionable insights to drive pricing decisions that align with business objectives.
    • Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of competitors' pricing structures, packaging, and positioning within the market. Use this information to develop pricing strategies that capitalize on market dynamics and differentiate our offerings.
    • Pricing Modeling: Develop and maintain pricing models that incorporate factors such as product features, customer lifetime value, market demand, and competitive landscape. Use these models to simulate pricing scenarios and quantify potential impact on revenue.
    • Price Testing and Optimization: Design and execute pricing experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of different pricing strategies. Monitor and analyze the results to identify successful approaches and refine strategies accordingly.
    • Collaboration: Provide pricing guidance and support during customer negotiations when needed. Help Sales teams understand the rationale behind pricing decisions and assist in crafting persuasive pricing arguments
    • Forecasting: Utilize historical data and market insights to generate accurate revenue forecasts based on various pricing scenarios. Communicate these forecasts to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions.
    • Reporting: Prepare regular reports and dashboards that provide visibility into key pricing metrics, trends, and performance indicators. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
    • Communication: Clearly communicate complex pricing concepts and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations for executives and teams.

Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
    • Proven experience as a Pricing Analyst, Market Analyst, or similar role in a SaaS or technology company.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
    • Familiarity with SaaS pricing software and methodologies is advantageous.
    • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw actionable insights from complex data sets.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
    • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work output.
    • Strategic mindset and the ability to think critically about market dynamics and customer behavior.
    • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.
    • Prior experience in SaaS pricing strategy and knowledge of subscription-based business models is a plus.
