POSITION DESCRIPTION
As an Engineering leader for solutions engineering, you will lead a team of developers developing SaaS solution integrations between our products and customers or partners. Those solutions may involve APIs, persistence interfaces, and interfaces to third party partner products (e.g. Third Party Risk Management or TPRM). You will have the opportunity to work directly with Sayari Sales, customers and Product Management to define these integrations. You will own the technical direction of our external APIs, SDK, and bulk data offerings. Technologies you and your team will employ include python, scripting, jvm languages (such as scala, java), containers, and CSPs including GCP, AWS.
This role can be based anywhere in the US or Canada, so long as you have the ability to travel approx. once per month.
Job Responsibilities
- Technical ownership of Sayari’s external APIs, SDK, and bulk data, and bulk risk (Signal) offerings
- Engage with customers, Sales and Product Management to establish solution definitions, scope, and timing
- Defining and implementing technical workflows and software architectures alongside Sayari’s most complex and demanding customers
- The ability to quickly take stock of a customer’s technology environment and recommend solutions which will lead to successful outcomes for both Sayari and the customer
- Lead a team of software engineers executing on development tasks and customer engagements
- Quality and timely customer delivery
- Innovation in your technical ownership area
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 7-10+ years of overall experience working in software development
- 3+ years management experience of software development teams
- 1+ years engaging closely with customers to define and implement solutions
- 4+ years in python and JVM programming language (e.g. Scala, other)
- 4+ years in persistence technologies: SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, Elastic, BigQuery, Graph
- Experience with ETL tools and data processing pipelines: Apache Spark
- Experienced with SaaS and SaaS technologies: Kubernetes, GCP, AWS
- Strong technical communicator who can convey complex topics to different audiences including customers and sales
- Leader who possess a combination of strong execution, empathy, and technical mentorship skills for their team
- B.S. in Computer Science, or a related field.
- Ability to travel as needed (about once a month)
$200,000 - $210,000 a year
The target base salary for this position is $200,000 - $210,000 USD plus bonus and equity. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, candidate experience and expertise, internal peer equity, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
