Role Summary
We are seeking an Engineering Manager – Billing Solutions to lead the design, development,
and ongoing improvement of our billing platforms. In this role, you’ll guide a team of
specialists, drive technical excellence, and ensure that billing processes are efficient, reliable,
and accurate. The position requires both technical depth—particularly with Oracle databases
and PL/SQL—and proven leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 5+ engineers working on billing systems, building a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of billing solutions—from system design and deployment to ongoing support and optimization.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and adapt systems to evolving business needs.
- Provide hands-on technical input and troubleshooting, especially within Oracle and PL/SQL environments.
- Improve billing workflows with a focus on accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring business goals are met.
- Support professional growth of team members through coaching and skills
What We’re Looking For
- Technical expertise: Strong experience with Oracle databases and PL/SQL programming.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage and inspire a team of 4+ engineers, achieving results through collaboration.
- Problem-solving: Excellent analytical skills for working with complex data and designing robust solutions.
- Communication: Clear and confident in explaining technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience with additional billing or financial platforms.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices and design patterns.
