DevOps Engineer Part-time (EU)

What we are looking for:

    • Mid-Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team on a part-time basis (30-40h/month).

Day to day:

    • You will maintain existing systems in development, test and production environments, as well as developing new systems to support our business applications;
    • Support your team members by sharing quality-led best practices;
    • Design, build and deploy scalable and secured services;
    • An internal advocate of cloud technologies;
    • Improve and automate tools, processes, and infrastructure.

Requirements and main responsibilities:

    • 3,5+ years of DevOps experience;
    • You are able to deploy and maintain applications;
    • Experience with config management tools (ansible, saltstack, chief, puppet) any of them.
    • Fluent in bash scripting. Python is optional. Knowledge of various cli tools.
    • Fluent with AWS/DigitalOcean/Google Cloud (at least one of them);
    • Experience with most of these AWS tools: Cloudfront, Route 53, ECS, ECR, AWS load balancers, S3, Cloudwatch;
    • Docker or docker-compose experience. Composing dockerfiles and configs according to best practices (Kubernetes experience is also welcome);
    • Gitlab- CI pipelines managing and developing;
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to work with remote staff and willingness to use team collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, etc. ensuring security is at the core of the deployed infrastructure and product;
    • Working collaboratively with software engineering teams to define infrastructure, security, and deployment requirements;
    • Important: enthusiastic about being DevOps;
    • Fluent in English.
