Job Description

This internship position will a paid part-time role that will provide education along with real world experience.  The main goals with be to engage with new prospects and drive lead and marketing initiatives for your assigned region as well as participate in our career development program to help accelerate your sales/marketing and industry knowledge. Our vertical industry target markets include: Service Providers (TSP and content developers); Content Distribution; Cloud firms; Media and Entertainment; Financial Services; Enterprise Cloud; and Video Surveillance. Responsibilities

    • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
    • Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails, and social media
    • Present our Scality’s value story to potential clients and partners
    • Identify client needs and provide guidance on how Scality can help
    • Leverage market intelligence and research to effectively focus our go to market efforts in your region
    • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
    • Be a part of our career development program to bolster your sales and industry knowledge

Requirements

    • Must be in process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in the fields of marketing, sales, communications and or business administration
    • Be available to work for 20 hours per week ( we can be flexible based on your school commitments etc…)
    • Understanding of multiple sales techniques (including cold calls, emailing, social media etc…)
    • Understanding of CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) and other revenue operations tools
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
    • Team player with a desire to learn
