En tant que Modeleur(e), vous serez responsable de la modélisation et création d'environnements, de véhicules, d'accessoires et de personnages à utiliser en production avec une emphase sur le photoréalisme, la précision, le détail et la fonctionnalité. En travaillant avec le pipeline de modélisation interne, vous devrez résoudre les problèmes techniques de manière indépendante.
As a Modeler, you will execute poly modeling skills for everything from creating environments, vehicles, props, and characters to be used in production with an emphasis on photo-realism, accuracy, detail, and function. Working with the in-house modeling pipeline, you will need to solve technical issues independently.
Principales responsabilités/ Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality models and UVs for use in production; implement improvements/changes based on review feedback and Supervisor/Lead direction
- Design and implement high level conceptual to practical modeling
- Proactively recommend ongoing pipeline improvements
- Identify potential issues, provide solutions, and escalate as needed
- Maintain a positive relationship with all stakeholder departments
- Work within the defined pipeline
- Ensure continuity and support other asset departments such as Texture, Surfacing/Lookdev, Generalist, and Rigging
- Créer des modèles et des UV de haute qualité à utiliser en production; implémenter des améliorations/modifications en fonction des commentaires de révision et des directives du superviseur/lead
- Concevoir et implémenter des modèles conceptuels de haut niveau
- Recommander de manière proactive des améliorations continues du pipeline
- Identifier les problèmes potentiels, fournir des solutions et les escalader au besoin
- Maintenir une relation positive avec tous les départements impliqués
- Travailler dans le pipeline défini
- Assurer la continuité et soutenir d'autres départements d'actifs tels que Texture, Surfacing/Lookdev, Généraliste et Rigging
Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years of VFX experience modeling photorealistic assets for live-action feature films
- Expert in Maya; could teach a class on how to use it and troubleshoot
- Excellent knowledge of Zbrush and/or Mudbox
- Mari knowledge (a plus)
- Excellent technical troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated ability to take design from ambiguous to full design implementation
- Strong understanding of rigging process and displacement map workflow
- Experience working on creatures, digi doubles, topology, and blend shapes
- Eye for detail and able to QA own work to ensure the highest quality before handing off assets
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills; experience working under tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player who is able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Expérience minimale de trois (3) ans en VFX en modélisation d'actifs photoréalistes en prise de vue réelle
- Expert de Maya; pourrait donner un cours sur son utilisation et le dépannage
- Excellente connaissance de Zbrush et/ou Mudbox
- Connaissance de Mari (un plus)
- Excellentes compétences en résolution de problèmes techniques
- Capacité démontrée à prendre des conceptions de l'ambiguïté à une implémentation complète de la conception
- Solide compréhension du processus de rigging et du flux de travail des cartes de déplacement
- Expérience de travail sur des créatures, des doubles digitaux, de la topologie et des formes hybrides
- Sens du détail et capacité à effectuer une QA sur son propre travail pour garantir la plus haute qualité avant de remettre les actifs
- Excellentes compétences en gestion du temps et en hiérarchisation des tâches
- Fortes compétences en communication écrite et verbale Joueur d'équipe capable de travailler de manière indépendante sous un minimum de supervision.
