Scape Technologies is an early-stage startup in the heart of Shoreditch, London. The team is building cloud infrastructure allowing augmented reality content and services to be tied to specific locations in space. The company was founded in 2016 and secured seed funding in May 2017, led by one of Europe’s top seed funds.
In this 3-6 month paid PhD internship you will have the opportunity to work on research in a startup environment. We are looking for curious and enthusiastic computer vision scientists who are keen on working on moonshot projects. You will have access to the powerful cloud infrastructure of Scape Technologies and work autonomously under the supervision of renowned computer vision researchers. You will be expected to work towards the submission of a high quality conference paper at a top conference.
- Current enrollment in a degree-granting college or university working towards a PhD in Computer Vision.
- Strong Python or C++ skills.
- At least one academic publications as a first author at a top conference (e.g., CVPR, NIPS, ICCV).
- Good communication skills and the ability of working in a team.
